Welcome to Online Orientation for SRJC

As a college student, you are expected to follow the steps for new students and to be actively engaged in understanding requirements for your educational goal. Counselors and others are here to help you reach your goal, but ultimately you are responsible for your own learning and understanding of academic requirements. Use this orientation to learn as much as you can before you meet with a counselor.

Before you start, you must have:

  1. Submitted an application online for the semester in which you wish to enroll AND
  2. Received a welcome email from SRJC with your 9-digit Student ID number (SID) and Pin Code

Directions:

  1. Plan to spend 45-60 minutes with this orientation.
  2. Access the online orientation through your student portal, myCubby, using your 9-digit Student ID number (SID) and Pin Code.
  3. After you have logged in, click on the link at the left side of the page under "Quick Links" that says "Online Orientation".
  4. Once you have clicked on the link, read the Welcome Page and then click on the "SRJC Online Orientation" link to begin.
  5. Read the content of the online orientation and answer the Knowledge Check questions.
