The SRJC Music Department is the beneficiary of the Mildred P. Long Endowment, one of the largest monetary gifts in the history of Santa Rosa Junior College. This generous endowment is gifted specifically for choral activities, including a new robust scholarship fund for vocal students. These new vocal scholarships will take effect beginning in the 2011 fall semester. In addition to the Mildred P. Long trust, SRJC continues to offer a limited amount of music scholarships to qualified students through the SRJC Foundation. All scholarships are awarded based on a competitive audition that takes place in April prior to the upcoming academic year.
