Chinese New Year | Chinese Culture E-Book Sampler

Kung Hei Fat Choy"Kung Hei Fat Choy!" (Cantonese) and "Gong Xi Fa Cái!" (Mandarin) are wishes for good luck and good fortune heard at the time of the Chinese New Year. Known as the Spring Festival in China, this historically agrarian holiday celebrates the end of winter and welcomes the first signs of spring.

This year the Chinese New Year starts on February 10th, and the snake is the symbol of the year. Explore these e-books to learn more. SRJC student ID and PIN are required for off-campus access.
